Q: Hi DG,

I went away for a weekend with my friends, and my boyfriend acted like a complete psycho while I was away; constant texting, calling, accusing me of not being where/with whom I said I was, saying he wouldn't take care of my dogs anymore, and he basically ruined my entire weekend. I came home and politely told him to get out of my house. He started groveling and begging for my forgiveness, which really just annoys me more. There are some things saying sorry is good enough for, but I don't think acting like a psycho is one of them. Problem is, we were supposed to go to Mexico on vacation NEXT WEEK!! (I paid $1300 for the vacation). My sister says 'a vacation with a psycho is not a vacation'. Do I kick him to the curb and take the loss or give him another chance?

A: If you like him and want to go on a trip with him, then give him a chance. If you’ll be dreading it and he’ll make the trip worse, then for sure cancel and call it a day.

If you think a break will help, then take a little breather and reassess after a few days.

Hope that helps. Let me know what you decide.

Love the Madness,
DG
