Q: How many times do I have to say sorry for the same gd thing??

A: If your apology was heart-felt and genuine and you really learned from what you did, then it should just have to be once, maybe twice. But... if it was really bad, like you cheated on her, then you can say it ‘til you’re blue in the face and it may not help.

Just want everyone to cross fingers for North Carolina. I’m 3rd in my pool and hoping for first or 2nd place. 3rd’s ok too but I’ll probably win $12.00 for 3rd. $12.00 and a lot of pride.

A: I’d go with Brad Pitt. He seems more feisty.

Q: Need a new present idea for my girlfriend. She’s sick of me getting her flowers that die every time.

A: Poor girlfriend. I feel really bad for her! What about a massage? Or Moosejaw Tee? My favorite present is a massage so I’d take that any day and I would never get sick of it! MJ tee is pretty good too!

Q: My gf watches Oprah every day and preaches it and it’s so annoying. How can I get her to watch more CNN?

A: Are you writing about me?? It’s a lost cause. I love Oprah and prob watch CNN as much as your girlfriend. So sorry but I don’t think you’re gonna get her to switch it up. Maybe if Oprah is on CNN...

Q: I hate my boyfriend’s dog. I literally want to kill it. I know that’s so mean but he’s horrible and barks all night and pees on my stuff! What do I do?

A: You have to suck it up a little. The bathroom thing is terrible. Why isn’t he potty trained? Maybe you could give him a dog training session for the next holiday...

Prob is a guy loves his dog and you’re probably a close 2nd. That means you get kicked out before the dog.

Q: I get really hot really easily. I sweat at the drop of a dime. What do I do on dates???

A: Very tough. You have to order a cold drink – no wine, no coffee. Don’t eat anything spicy. You could even go the shrimp cocktail and salad route so you have a cold meal. And definitely wear something lightweight and in a good sweat color – no greys or blues. Black is safe as long as you’re not on an outside sunny date.

Good luck!

Salad with cherries
Bread (the kind you heat up)
Meat loaf (her mom’s recipe)
Choc cov strawberries

Q: I’m dating a girl at work. Is it weird to kiss her goodbye in front of everyone?

A: It’s a little weird but it’s also a little weird to be too business-like. Can you have a code that means “Love you and I’d kiss you if I didn’t feel so weird but just know that I want to!?”

Then end of the day, you just say that code and go about your day.

Q: hey i need your help! i have been seriously "talking" to this guy for about 5 months. we both just got out of serious relationships, i want a boyfriend, he doesnt want a girlfriend because he doesnt want to get hurt. he also is leaving the country in july. WHAT DO I DO!!>??!?!? i want to be serious and have it last as long as possible. how do i get waht i want

A: Just keep going as is and see how it develops. You can't force him into it if he doesn't want it but he might be ok with the actions and just not into the title. Would you be ok with that? If he's leaving the country in July, that might be your best bet regardless. LMK what you think!

Q: Dear Dating Girl-
So I have this loooong standing off and on crush (about 5 years now) with a guy who has been my boss for the last 2 (although my position has changed so he is no longer my direct supervisor). We met through a volunteer program, stayed in touch afterward and he hired me when I was looking for a job a while back. He's a great guy and I remember hitting it off with him right away (through the phone no less) when we first met. The down side is he's a bit older and not the most attractive, but he's amazing and being with him, whether its for work or fun, is just good (I've pretty much been told by a friend or two that I'm in love with him which I hate because we've never dated. Argh I'm a loser!). So anyway, I'm trying to figure out whether its worth making the first move...I mean we have known each other for a long time and he's never made a move and he is a committment phobe. We are like the best friends who know everything about each other but have never dated and I'm the girl in love while he's the guy without a clue, this it terribly cliche. So what should I do? Got any advice on how to make my feelings known without out right saying it? Or should I just say it and let the chips fall where they may?

A: You have to make the joke about it so he hears it but you’re not too vulnerable. Say, “Too bad we’re just friends; you’d make such a good boyfriend!” Then see what he says. He may just laugh it off and never think of it again but he may chime in with something. Just be prepared to answer back if he opens the door. So if he says, “Yeah, we could be good…,” then you have to say, “If I were more adventurous, I’d lean in and kiss you right now...” Or, “You should just ask me out already!”
Let me know what you think!

Q: Going on vaca today. Had a great date last night. Am I allowed to call her from vaca?

A: Sure. Everyone has cell phones now so a long distance call doesn’t have the same stigma it used to. Maybe wait a day to call but you definitely don’t have to wait until you get home!

Q: So I have been friends with this girl for forever (+/-25 years). No, we're not ancient, only 29. She grew up in the same neighborhood. We've never been hang-out-all-the-time-best-friends, but we talk. Well, she lives where we went to school, and I live 8 hours away now. After not talking for 5 years, we started chatting again via the world wide internet during the last month or so, and things are going really well. She is probably my longest running crush. (FYI - I can develop a crush in approximately 1.3 seconds flat.) Well, long story short, she is coming to visit this weekend. We're both scorpios, I don't know what that means, but have been told it is good. When I pick her up at the airport, should I wear my black Chuck Taylor's, or my flip flops? Any other hints, tips, or suggestions?

A: Wear your flip flops (as long as your toes aren’t terrible looking!)

So exciting. Can’t wait to get an update please!

Q: Been out with a guy 4 times. By mistake (kind of), I slept with him on date 2. Now he keeps calling at 9pm for plans. How do I get out of booty call and move onto relationship?

A: You pretty much have to deny the 9pm impromptu plans so he can’t have his cake and eat it too. You gave it up a little early so you need to re-establish the boundaries so he has to woo you. Does that help? I know the 9pm-ers are fun, but you have to say no for now so he asks you on proper dates.
