Q: So... question. I just got through with a three year long on-again-off-again situation with a guy and am a bit discombobulated. There's this cute guy at this political thing I'm involved in, but I've been out of the whole game thing for so long that I have no idea how to act. Exciting update from X!
So I told you that I signed up for match.com and was e-mailing with a few guys; I only had an account there for like, a week (because honestly it's not like there are 50 [let alone 10!] new members a day signing up in the area! But anyway!), turns out one of the guys was/is REALLY AWESOME! He's 30 years old (so woohoo for finally dating a guy older than I am!), and we've been dating just over a month now. He is all kinds of wonderful - smart, funny, adventurous, adorable, sweet, sexy, charming, friendly, easy-going yet ambitious, etc.
And yeah... I just wanted to say thanks for the advice, and for suggesting checking stuff out online - the beau lives 45 minutes north of me, and who knows if I ever would have run into him on the mountain or something snowboarding this winter, but we found each other online and now we can hit the mountain (and everything else!) together. :o) Thanks again!

CONGRATS TO BILLY AND HIS LADY FOR GETTING ENGAGED AND SOME ALL AROUND ASS KICKING.
Saturday night the splendid couple dined at Porto Bellos in Grand Haven. Followed by a long walk on the short pier. During that walk the big question was presented and responded to in a positive fashion. They are hoping for a May - summer wedding. So please keep you schedules open since it is likely that some of you may be invited.
Billy did not get too nervous during the walk and did not require sitting down. He was also delighted to receive the correct response quite soon after the inquiry had been presented.
They are both REALLY happy.

Q: Is there any kind of flowers to get a guy or are they just too girlish all around?
A: They’re pretty girly but do you know he likes flowers or at least appreciates nature? If yes, you could get them but don’t give them in front of a group or at work. Prives only.
