Q: hey ? who's dating girl ? any good tips ?
A: I’m dating girl!
Tip of the day: Don’t say, “Mmmm...” when you kiss a girl. It’s creepy. I’m sick thinking about it.

Q: Ok- I'm a big believer in the christianity. So here's my dilema.... If I make out with a married woman from Germany, am I OK with God? He said not to covet my neighbor's wife. I'm from California and in no way can you consider some German guy my neighbor. Right?
A: Nice technicality but I think you’re screwed!

Q: Someone told me to ask this girl out but shes out of my league and I don’t think I should do it. I’m only asking for rejection, right?
A: The worst thing that can happen is she says no. That means you have to buck up and get ready to be turned down but definitely go in with a positive attitude. Do a little “Bond, James Bond” in the mirror before you ask her! Let me know how it turns out.

Q: Hey, here's the deal. I've known this girl for quite a while and have always thought about going out with her. Finally I decided it was time and we went out a couple times. She's cool, brilliant, beautiful, and I'm totally not feeling anything for her. I would just not call again except for A) I'm pretty sure she's really into it and B) we're part of a small group together and have all the same friends. Do you think it's ok to fade out at this point or should I tell her we're better off staying friends? I don't want to make anything super awkward. Thanks!
A: You should probably say something short and sweet. Even just an email to say you think she’s great but you’re better friends and you didn’t want it to get awkward so you wanted to let her know.
Let me know how it goes!!

Q: While skiing, I met the most attractive girl in the world. Swedish, go figure. I saw her and she saw meblockedkeywordon a crowded gondola during an epic, epic powder day. Traded smiles and that was that. To my surprise, though, the next day we met at a bar, danced, and really hit it off. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. And how many times in my life will I meet a law student who skis, is better looking than most models, and is actually willing to talk to me? We may even have both been pretty sober. I left the next morning and now she’s back near the arctic circle with my info and I’m here in italy where i’m going to school this year. Is there anything I can do except wait? (No). When/if she contacts me, what should I say? “Meet you in europe somewhere?” (Too forward); “i’m coming to stockholm?” (Too stalker); “i’m joining the priesthood if I never get to see you again because I know that it’s all downhill after you?” (True, but kind of long). All this while trying to show that i’m just a decent, all-american guy who only wants to take her out to dinner so that her folks don’t send a viking raiding party down here after me. I know it’s unlikely, but i’m desperate here. Grazie e ciao!
A: Yup. You have to wait it out. Hopefully she’ll contact you soon! Sounds like she liked you. When she does, you’ll have to A) get her contact info and B) make a reference to when you meet up in Prague and see how she reacts. If she’s into it (even if it is just a joke reference), on the next call you can make it a little less jokey and hopefully make a real trip out of it.
For now, you have to sit tight – unfortunately!

Q: I'm taking off for 4 days next weekend and my gf is already bumming out... I'm on a sports team and I'll be racing in california while she has to stay here where spring is delayed and its still snowing. I want to show her how special she is to me and am at a loss besides telling her what she already knows (that I really care for her). We've been dating for 5 months or so. Do I send her a postcard while in cali? Get her something while on my trip? Help me!
A: For sure send postcards (plural). If you can, set it up so she gets one every day that you’re gone. And yes, bring her a present! Get her a t-shirt or something else little. Nothing she’s gonna hate though! No airport t-shirts!

Q: Hellooo,
Ok here's the situation. Been really into this girl that's really awesome. We've known each other for about a year but not that well until most recently. About a month ago we started hanging out a bunch and have been getting along great. It just started as hanging out with common group of friends, then I started asking her out just me and her on a couple of dates, or what I thought are dates... farmer's market, hiking...etc. We definitely have a great time together but there's not too much going on the flirting side. I have a strange inkling that she thinks we're just hanging out and that I am quickly drifting into the friend zone. What's my best bet, be upfront and ask her on a straight up date? or just keep on rolling? Or what do you suggest?
Thanks Much Dating Gal!
A: Ask her out on a real date – dinner at a romantic place after it’s dark. Do all the datey things – open doors, pay for dinner, let her order first, etc. Then at the end, kiss her – not too much tongue and nothing crazy aggressive. If she’s into it, you’ll know.
Let me know what happens please!

A: Hey DG-
What's the best way to flirt successfully with a waitress? Most of them get hit on daily by creepers. So they tune it out. What approach could I use that would convey my sincerity, make me stand out from the 10 other guys she's serving and get the digits?
Easy peazy
Q: Just be honest, cute, shy but confident. She may not trust you anyway, cause really, what do you know about her to like her except that she’s cute? Try to get to know her. Talk while she serves your food. Make small talk about the weather and then move into more important things like food, movies, etc. Then ask her out. Hopefully she’ll think you’re more sincere if you make the effort.

A: So I've been with my boyfriend for almost two years now. I'm a sophomore in college, but my boyfriend hasn't started school, even though we've been out of high school for two years almost now. I really love him, but I'm affraid he's bringing me down and is more a destraction. I don't really want to bother monitoring our relationship more than I do now, but I'm affraid to break up with him. I don't know what I'd be like if the break up actually did happen. I'm scared, please let know me know what you think?
Q: Break up with him. Be nice and respectful. Don’t string him along. You must not like him that much if you’re thinking this much about it. Plus you’re in college. Enjoy. Go out and meet other guys. Have fun. And then you’ll see if you still love him and can’t live without him.

Q: Dear Dating Girl,
I am not writing for advice on dating, but on life in general, since you seem to know what's going on.
My mom's birthday is coming up, and her and I aren't on very good terms. All she says that she wants for her birthday is for me to take her out to dinner.
Honestly i'm thinking that I should be nice and at least buy her flowers.
What do you think?
A: I would take her out to dinner. Do you mean flower AND dinner? If so, then that’s great. If you mean flowers instead of dinner, then I would rethink it. Keep in mind though that my family is like the brady bunch so I’m not the best to ask about family fight. I always side with “swallow pride and fix it asap!”

Q: Been dating a guy for a month and I have no idea where we stand. Can I have a talk with him and find out?
A: A month is a little early for "the talk." If you can wait and be patient and not let him know you’re crawling out of your skin, then wait. If he’s gonna know something’s up and you can’t hide the anxiety, then you might as well have it since you may push him away more by holding it in.
Hope that helps.

Q: Dating Girl,
Where would be a good place to meet a girl like you? One who likes the outdoors (camping, hiking all that good stuff)? And of course would like her to be cute as well.
A: I’m trying to figure out the same thing myself!
Try these out:
Bookstore
Dog park
Coffee shop
Gym
Hiking
Thing is, you have to create a pattern. Go to the same place at the same time daily so you see the same people and make bonds. Then you can start talking, go on dates, get married, etc.
Or you should try online sites. They can be fun for about a month!

Q: I have to write a love note to my gf. I lost a bet and this is what must be done now. How do I do it and can you do it for me?
A: Give me some things about the gf and I’ll write something up. Let me know the top 3 things you like about her, 2 physical traits and 2 things you like to do together. Then I can whip something up. Hopefully it’ll be a little better than a roses are red kind of thing but not so good that she accuses you of plagiarism.

Q: I spilled my entire beer on my date last night. I was a little tipsy and it made me look so bad. What do I do?
A: If he liked you, he liked you and the beer probably won’t be a deal breaker. If he didn’t like you, he probably wouldn’t have called if you didn’t spill the beer. In any case, you could send an email or text and ask if he wants to go out for beer? Wink wink style. It could all be a good joke for your kids one day!
