Q: Hey, here's the deal. I've known this girl for quite a while and have always thought about going out with her. Finally I decided it was time and we went out a couple times. She's cool, brilliant, beautiful, and I'm totally not feeling anything for her. I would just not call again except for A) I'm pretty sure she's really into it and B) we're part of a small group together and have all the same friends. Do you think it's ok to fade out at this point or should I tell her we're better off staying friends? I don't want to make anything super awkward. Thanks!
A: You should probably say something short and sweet. Even just an email to say you think she’s great but you’re better friends and you didn’t want it to get awkward so you wanted to let her know.
