Q: DG,
So this girl and I started to date in April of 06, we broke up in September of 06 but still hung out and stayed together until this past May. Now, she is taking a liking to my friend, and him to her, and he tells me that nothing will happen, but they are together quite often. They are going to her hometown to watch some boat races today and he did spend the night there last night. This guy is one of my best friends and I dont want her to come inbetween that, but she is. How do I handle this situation?
A: Ask your friend what’s going on with them. Tell him you don’t want it to be weird, but it is! Hopefully you guys can straighten it out. If you’ll never get back with her, you may want to let him have her. But there are probably some girls (maybe her) you can put on the veto list. That means they were important enough to you that no one else in the group can date them. The veto list should just be the top few girls.
