Q: I really need help! I am in love with one of my closest friends and she knows it. I know that she considers me one of the closest friends she has ever had and she has very strong feelings for me too. I think that she is affraid to commit to a relationship because she is a committer. For her birthday Im flying her home, taking her to a concert, making breakfast in bed, then taking her for a message. I have put a lot of thought and effort into her gift this year. Its going to be just me and her all weekend. I really want to talk to her about where we stand in becoming a couple without scaring her off. What should I do Dating Girl?

A: When you’re in the moment, it should come naturally. Don’t bring it up out of nowhere. Ease her into it! Ask her if she could ever see you guys together? Even if it’s down the road sometime...

Assess the sitch. Don’t go too deep into it if you think you’re making her uncomfortable.

And most importantly, don’t do it too close to the beginning in case you get a bad response. No reason to ruin the time!

Love the Madness,
DG
