Q: DG, thx again for the great advice on asking my GF to marry m:} I am writing for help for a friend .. he is not going to write to you, and I know you have the best advice. He has only really been seriously dating a few girls.. EVER. He is now dating a girl that is married... she says she is sepparated, and pursuing a divorce, but isn't really taking stpes to prove it... ?? They are both like ~25 yo. He is a great freind, but it I konw he can do better?? Advice???
A: He should leave her until she gets a divorce. She’s stringing him along and may still be deciding about the divorce. If she’s really getting a divorce and likes your friend enough, there should be no trouble here. I agree with you that something’s fishy!
He doesn’t have to leave her for good, just until she’s divorced!
As far as you telling him this and him listening to you, that’s a whole other beast! You could forward him this email but if he doesn’t want to listen, he won’t. Love is blind! And scary!
