Q: I have a question for you. I live in California and spend a lot of time at the beach. This also means that I meet a lot of the girls that I hang out with at the beach. Because of this my friends and I were wondering... what is the best way to approach and start conversations with girls on the beach without sounding creepy or desperate? Typically we just wait for the girls to make some sort of a hint of interest (i.e constantly looking in our direction) and then we just straight up go up to them and start talking. Usually this seems to work pretty well, but not always.

I guess that I would consider my friends and I to be decent looking guys and we all do pretty well with the ladies, but I would love a female's perspective the subject.

Thanks a ton Dating Girl and I think I can speak for all guys when I say that I appreciate the awesome advice.

A: I like the direct approach once they give you the eye. But… you could do a little more on the initiating side – initiating the eye contact part. You could start the flirting a little more.

Throw the football by them and do some smiling. You can even drop the ball by them if your manliness could stand it!!

I like your approach though!

Love the Madness and thanks!!
