Q: I’m in relationship of 3 months. I always end up doing what he wants to do since I’m so giving and sweet. Lately it seems like all we do is what he wants to do so maybe I’m not as giving and sweet as I thought. anyway, he never wants to do what I want to do – ever. He keeps to his schedule and that’s it.
What do I do?
A: Give him the benefit of the doubt but definitely have a little talk. If you don’t, you’ll start picking fights. There are a few options – etiher he’s into himself and would rather do what he wants to do than be with you or he just doesn’t get that he needs to be a little more flexible or something controlling.
In any case, have a talk and let him know that you love doing his stuff but you want to do your stuff too and you want him to want to do your stuff. You feel second best to his schedule and it’s not a great feeling.
