Q: DG I need your advice... Is making out "so fifth grade"? I'm not talking about long slurping sessions on the couch or anything, but I think it is nice to have some romantic kisses as a warm up for other things (or while doing other things)... am I crazy?
My boyfriend (he's 28, I'm 26) hates making out and he is the one that said it is "so fifth grade". No I don't have bad breath or anything... I have never experienced this problem with other bf's BUT he says other gf's have complained about his aversion to kissing. How do I get him to change?
A: Definitely not 5th grade! I’m on your side. You have to kiss in a relationship. Maybe he’s a bad kisser and scared of it. Have you tested that theory? Is he just against French kissing? You could just do closed mouth…. Ask him to give it a chance for a week and if he still hates it, then you’ll find a new compromise. Then you have to be an amazing kisser that week to turn him over!
