Q: Hi Dating Girl,
My birthday was this past weekend and my boyfriend of 7 months got me a brick of cheese. Granted I love cheese, but is it wrong of me to think that was retarded? His birthday was a month ago and I got him a nice watch he wanted and a cd. Should I be upset about this? He has also had a key to my place for some time, but asking about getting his; he states he needs his private space. Thank you so much for your insight!

Unless there’s a key or a ring buried in the middle of the cheese, then I’d seriously consider the relationship!
Really though, have a talk when you’re a little less emotional and let him know that you’re not superficial but you would have way rather gotten a super nice card than cheese….
