Q: So, my friends set me up with an incredible girl recently, and after a few casual group dates, we officially had our first First Date, which, at least in my opinion, went really, really well. The date ended with a longer-than-normal goodnight kiss at her front door, which I took to be a good sign. Now, however, it's been over a week without any contact. I've called twice and texted once, none of which have been returned. Is it a lost cause? Thanks.
A: Few things could have happened:
She met someone else
You did something to turn her off – did you put your tongue down her throat when you kissed? A definite turn off.
She decided she’s rather be alone than go thru dating again.
She’s playing the field.
She lost your number and her phone and any way to get your number.
In any case, if you think she’s great and you had the best time, you could try to call 1 more time, but then call it a day and move on.
