Q: hey, i met a girl at a party and we started sending some messages on fb. a band we both like is coming this week to our town and i said we should both go and go get a bit to eat before. she said she really wanted to go and even wanted to know if we could eat earlier and still go to the concert. i wrote back and said we can def do that but i have no car at the moment, stuff happens yano, and played it off as a joke to lighten it up. i dont think it went over well bc i havnt heard back and ive seen she's been ona couple times..just bc its all in your face on ther e. i know its weird if i a guy cant drive, but to the point of not wanting to go out? it seemed like a done deal. and should i just write it off and go on or send her a quick note asking if were still on? thanks
A: Send her one more note and act like you’re on. If she blows you off again, then you move on. I like the idea of making the no car thing a joke. It is a little weird for the girl to drive – kind of a role reversal that she just wasn’t expecting! Since she’ll be driving, make sure you do all the other manly things like open doors, pay, make the plan, etc.

Good Luck!
