Q: So I've gone out with this girl a few times now. Every time we go out, we do datish-type things (dinner & a movie, museums, ice skating, etc) and I pick her up and pay and all that and it's always just the two of us. I've told her I like her so she knows where I'm coming from. But even though she always accepts the invites and answers when I call her, she constantly refers to our activities as "hanging out" and resists things like holding hands in the movies, cuddling, etc. So is she viewing these things as dates or what? I mean, I've been explicit with her that I like her and want to date her so she can't be thinking it's just hanging out, can she? Because of our schedules we've only been able to go out about every other weekend now and it's getting rough on me. Maybe I need to turn up the intensity since we don't see each other as much as would be ideal?
A: She knows they’re dates but she’s not that into you so she’s resisting. How did she answer when you told her you liked her? You could go out a few more times, but chances are, she’s just not into it.
I assume that’s the vibe you’re getting – trust your instincts!
