Q: As of right now I am a confused man. I have known this girl for a long time and we've always been friends, but every time we try to be more than that she gets or has a boyfriend. She always says that I make her laugh like no one else but she has been dating this tool (who constantly wears carhartt vests i might add) for two years. I have tried on numerous occasions to intervene because she is way better than him and everyone can tell she is miserable. Plus she constantly flirts with me and at least pretends to not hate me. My question to you is, how do you talk sense into a girl who won't hear it and is it in fact worth it. Thank you and yes i do love the madness!
A: There’s not much you can do. Telling her she’s too good for the current bf isn’t working, flirting isn’t working and other people thinking it too isn’t working.
Continuing to talk about it is only going to annoy her. She has to figure it out for herself. Continue the flirting but in more of a friendly way than overt and sexual way.
Don’t spend all your time waiting for her though. It’ll make you crazy and less attractive.
I know it’s easier said than done but if she’s involved with someone, well, as they say, love is blind.
