Q: I've liked a girl from one of my classes since I met her back in October. I invited her to a World Series game and she turned me down saying she was getting over her ex. After that we hung out 3 times in a group setting, and then once by ourselves and nothing really happened. Then the 2nd time we hung out alone after a little bit of drinking she ended up kissing me. Thinking it was all due to alcohol I just let it go, but the next day she kissed me goodbye sober. She talked to me about it and said she likes me but wants to take it slow and wanted to be single for a while. I'm wondering what exactly does that mean and when the appropriate time is for me to make a move. We've hung out like four times since and it's physical from the standpoint that it's flirty like hand holding and hugging and cuddling. Needless to say I'm confused. I realize this is a long entry so I apologize but would really appreciate some input. Thanks!

A: Yeah, we can all be a little confused and confusing sometimes. This is one of those times!

Sounds like she is attracted to you and wants to hang out, kiss, etc but isn’t ready to be exclusive or tied down. If you’re ok with that, then you can make a move (a small move, nothing crazy) next time you see her. If you’re not ok with that then you may be with the wrong girl!
