Q: it's been 3 years now. 1st year great - 2nd year, major trauma - 3rd year, another major trauma. without going into too much gory detail, let's just say that there is lying, cheating, and abandonment involved.
i've forgiven the unforgiveable, asked him to fix what he destroyed, and told him i want more commitment. he told me he wasn't ready, so i break up with him. then he begs me to take him back - i believe him because i love him and we end up back in limbo a year later.
the last 2 years have been a serious roller coaster. he's grown more beligerent. i've grown more depressed. i keep doing things to make him happy but no reciprocation. i don't want to give him an ultimatum, but i am pretty corner now. what should i do?
A: Why aren’t you breaking up with him? why do you want him to stay if you’re both unhappy? You’ve tried this a handful of times and it seems wrong. I wouldn’t even give an ultimatum, I would just end it.
Sorry for being so mean but you deserve better than this!
