Q: Ok, went on a date with a girl last Saturday. I kept it short, though admittedly shorter than I had intended (about 1 hour, just did dinner). Everything went great and had a good time. Wasn't gonna call on Sunday, but a friend said she made note to him that it was so short and I felt bad and wanted to explain why. I called that afternoon and left a message. Never heard back from her, so I texted her many hours later, that night. She said she forgot to call me back but everything was kosher. I called her b/c I hate texting so much and told her that there was a concert this weekend that I wanted to go to and I wanted her to come too. She said she wasn't sure and is "supposed" to call me back and let me know if she can go. I haven't heard back from her, but I guess she still has until Saturday to let me know. Though I have a gut feeling I'm not gonna hear from her (mostly due to the fact that I've been burned before). It was odd, because it felt like everything was going really well on the date and that there was some mutual interest there. Anyway, I've also heard that she's not wanting any big commitment thing right now, which is actually great because I don't either, but I have no idea how to handle a situation like that. She's also 6 years younger than me, which was really hard at first, but I do like the girl and want to see her again.
Sorry for the rambling, I'm fairly clueless in these situations.
A: Sounds like she’s not that into it. If you’re excited about a guy, you usually don’t forget to call back. Sucks but if she doesn’t call by tonight, I’d write it off.
Don’t kill the messenger.
