Q: So there is this girl that I'm crazy about at school. I will very rarely see her on campus now and then...last year we exchanged a quick glance and smile, but she was studying with a group of people so I didn't go up and talk to her. Like I said I rarely see her now and the few times I've had I haven't had the perfect moment I was hoping for to go up and talk to her. I'm getting a bit impatient and need to talk to her the next time I see her. How should I go about doing that? I don't want to be too blunt or creepy...

Thanks!

A: Just make it super casual. Start with small talk that anyone would have. Weather, water-cooler talk, etc.

Then move into a new movie that’s out or a new restaurant that opened and ask if she wants to go.

“Have you tried that new sushi place downtown?”
“no, but I heard it’s good”
“We should go sometime!”
“Ok”
“Wanna go this weekend?”
“would love to….”

Blah, blah blah.

Sounds easier than it is! I know!! Just go for it and if you’re casual about it, you won’t seem blunt or creepy!
